Cookie Policy
Last updated: 27 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Neural Vault Inc. ("we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on neuralvault.one. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We are a Vancouver-based training provider for responsible AI knowledge programmes — not a cryptocurrency product or neuroscience clinic.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences, and — with your consent — understand how visitors use our pages. Similar technologies include local storage entries used for cookie consent records. Cookies do not give us access to your computer or personal files beyond the information you choose to submit through forms.
How we obtain consent
When you first visit neuralvault.one, a banner offers three choices: Accept all, Reject all, or Customise. Your selection is stored in a cookie named nv_cookie_consent for six months (15,552,000 seconds), after which we will ask again. Essential cookies operate regardless of choice because the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are placed only if you accept all or enable analytics in the customise panel.
Contact form consent (PIPEDA checkbox) is separate from cookie consent and is never pre-checked. Declining analytics cookies does not prevent you from submitting an enquiry or registering for a vault tier.
Cookie categories
Essential cookies (always active)
Required for basic operation and security. They cannot be disabled through our banner without breaking the site.
- nv_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie preference (all / essential). Duration: 6 months. First-party. Set by neuralvault.one.
- Session identifiers — May be set by our hosting provider for load balancing and CSRF protection during form submission. Duration: session. First-party.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Help us understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, referral sources, device types — so we can improve our training site. They do not identify you by name unless combined with form submissions you voluntarily provide separately.
- _ga / _gid — Google Analytics identifiers, if analytics is enabled. Duration: _ga up to 2 years, _gid up to 24 hours. Third-party (Google).
- _gat — Google Analytics throttle cookie. Duration: 1 minute. Third-party (Google).
We configure analytics to anonymize IP addresses where supported and avoid cross-site tracking beyond measurement of neuralvault.one.
Third-party vendors
Third parties that may set cookies when enabled:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website usage statistics. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Hosting provider — essential infrastructure cookies for delivery and security.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking pixels on this site. We do not use cookies to promote cryptocurrency products, financial services, or clinical neuroscience offerings.
How to opt out or change preferences
You may update choices at any time:
- Clear site cookies in your browser settings and revisit — the banner will reappear.
- Use browser controls to block third-party cookies globally.
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on if analytics is enabled.
- Email [email protected] for assistance.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent the consent banner from remembering your choice and could affect form security features.
Do Not Track
Our site does not respond to Do Not Track browser signals with a separate mechanism. Optional analytics honour the reject-all and customise settings in our banner.
Relationship to PIPEDA
Cookie data may constitute personal information under PIPEDA when linked to identifiable individuals. We treat analytics data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and limit collection to what is necessary for site improvement. Essential cookies support security and consent management — purposes for which we rely on implied or explicit consent as appropriate.
Updates
We may revise this Cookie Policy when we add or remove technologies. Changes appear on this page with an updated date. Material changes will not reduce your choices retroactively without renewed consent where required.
